As a result of the collision, Ms. Bryant suffered unconsciousness, traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhages, skull fractures, seizures, and a traumatic brain injury. She was rushed to the hospital where she was intubated and in a medically induced coma for one week before being transferred to another hospital for acute inpatient rehabilitation.
