Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP attorneys Rahul Ravipudi and Robert Glassman obtained a $17,000,000 settlement for an 18-year-old man who suffered severe injuries after he was struck by an MTA bus while crossing the street.

Plaintiff Brian Garcia was on his way to work, standing on the corner of the sidewalk and waiting for the crosswalk signal to change. When the light indicated it was safe for him to walk, he stepped out into the intersection where he was struck by an MTA bus whose driver had made an unsafe left turn, running over the pedestrian’s left leg. Defense stipulated to liability and claimed Plaintiff was comparatively negligent. Defense also disputed the nature and extent of Plaintiff’s past & future economic and non-economic damages.

Plaintiff was also represented in the matter by Nicholas Siciliano of the Law Offices of Nicholas Siciliano.
