Deborah Chang to Serve as Co-Chair for Daily Journal ‘Women Leadership in Law’ Conference

For a third consecutive year, Panish Shea & Boyle LLP attorney Deborah S. Chang will serve as co-chair for the Daily Journal “Women Leadership in Law” event to be held at The Montage Beverly Hills on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Panish Shea & Boyle LLP is a proud sponsor of the conference and interactive forum that brings together some of the greatest law firm and in-house practitioners to participate in insightful discussions on topics important to the legal profession and of interest to women leaders. This year’s topics for discussion include Women in the Courtroom, Women in the C-Suite, Thrive, Not Survive: Science-Based Strategies to Thrive and Not Just Survive as a Leading Lawyer, Women in the Boardroom, Women Who Make it Rain: The Relationship with Inside & Outside Counsel, Women and Diversity, and Women on the Bench.

In addition to Ms. Chang, Linda Kornfeld of Blank Rome LLP and Cheryl D. Orr of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP will also serve as co-chair for the event this year. Dawn Haghighi, General Counsel, Privacy and Compliance Officer for PVC Murcor Real Estate Services will return a third year to serve as in-house advisor.

Former Acting Attorney General and partner at King & Spalding, Sally Yates, will serve as Keynote, sharing her experience at the Keynote Luncheon – Lessons in Leadership — discussing what she has learned about effective, principled and ethical leadership drawn from her more than 25-years of distinguished service at the U.S. Department of Justice, including as the Acting Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, the first female U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, and an accomplished federal prosecutor who tried numerous high-profile cases, including the prosecution of Olympic bomber Eric Rudolph.
