PSB Attorneys & Staff Serve as Featured Speakers at CAALA Vegas 2018
The countdown is underway for Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles’ annual Las Vegas Convention. More than 2,800 legal professionals will “Catch the Wave of Justice” from Thursday, August 30 through Sunday, September 2 when over 140 legal exhibitors fill the convention center space and some of nation’s most accomplished litigators will present over 20 hours of continuing education sessions over four days.
Panish Shea & Boyle LLP attorneys Brian Panish, Deborah Chang, Spencer Lucas, and Candice Klein as well as PSB paralegal Cesar Garcia, will participate as featured speakers during the convention’s education sessions on varying topics. CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year and Vegas convention co-chair, Rahul Ravipudi, will serve as moderator on various panels and topics throughout the four day convention.
Friday, August 31
Brian Panish and Spencer Lucas will serve as a featured speakers during the morning session entitled Damages from 9 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in Meeting Room C. Mr. Lucas will present TBI Damages followed by Mr. Panish who will discuss Presenting Damages in Closing. Moderated by Mauro Fiore, additional panelists for topics related to Damages include Honorable Michael Linfield, Gretchen Nelson, Christopher Aumais, John Taylor and Christopher Faenza.
In the afternoon, PSB attorney Candice Klein will present Effective Use of Visual During Opening in Meeting Room D from 1:45 – 5:00 p.m during the Opening Statements session. Additional panelist presenting on related topics will include Honorable Stephanie Bowick, Tom Girardi, Carney Shegerian, Dick Carroll, Jack Denove, and Bruce Broillet. Attorney Robert Simon will serve as moderator.
Saturday, September 1
In the morning, PSB paralegal Cesa Garcia and Bryan Davis of Shernoff Bidart Echevarria will present Tales from the Trenches during Session Two: Legal Software for Trial from 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
In the afternoon from 1:45 – 5:00 p.m., PSB attorney Deborah Chang will serve as a featured speaker during the Masters Speakers Session entitled The Art of Storytelling: Effectively Communicating Your Client’s Story to the Jury to Obtain Better Results. The afternoon session will be held in the Latour Ballroom and features attorneys Deborah Chang, Gary Dordick, Michael Kelly, Randi McGinn and Pamela Pantages.
