The 57-year-old woman was survived by her husband and two adult sons, and the 29-year-old woman was survived by her husband and two minor children. An investigation into the crash revealed that the defendant driver had little prior trucking experience before being hired by the company and had failed to pass a road test just four months prior to the fatal crash.
