Brian Panish Named 2018 “Lawyer of the Year” in Aviation Law By Best Lawyers

Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP partner Brian Panish has been named by Best Lawyers as the 2018 “Lawyer of the Year” for Los Angeles in the area of Aviation Law. This distinct honor recognizes the individual attorney in a geographic location who receives the highest overall peer-feedback in a specific practice area.

This is Mr. Panish’s fifth “Lawyer of the Year” recognition by the publication and his peers.

In 2016 and 2009, Mr. Panish was named “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers in the area of Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury Litigation for the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. He was also named as “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers in the area of Plaintiffs’ Product Liability Litigation in Los Angeles in 2015 and 2010.

Brian Panish has obtained some of the most significant jury verdicts in United States history on behalf of plaintiffs including a $4.9 billion record verdict in the landmark products liability case Anderson v. General Motors, and over 75 verdicts and settlements in excess of $10 million in personal injury, car accident, wrongful death and business litigation cases, including four verdicts in excess of $50 million.  Mr. Panish consistently serves in a leading role in the largest personal injury cases in the state and country, including the Porter Ranch Gas Blowout Litigation, the Olympus Superbug CRE Litigation, the DePuy ASR Hip Implant Litigation and the Asiana Airlines Crash Litigation.
