PSBR donated funds to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Community Safety Program (CSP) which were used to purchase uniforms and gear for a little league team in Ramona Gardens. The Housing Authority’s Community Safety Partnership program with the LAPD is an unprecedented program aimed at improving the relationship between the residents of Los Angeles public housing communities and local police. On June 4, 2016, attorney Robert Glassman met with the Padres baseball team, wearing their new uniforms, in the front of Hollenbeck Police Station.
