ABC News Profiles PSB Case Involving Sexually Assaulted Deaf Student

On August 12, 2015, ABC7-Los Angeles broadcast a report on Panish Shea & Boyle LLP’s lawsuit against the California School for the Deaf in Riverside alleging the rape of a 13-year old student by an older student.

The parents of the boy and PSB attorney Candice Klein were interviewed in the report which examines the culture of sexual abuse at the school and the failure of school employee’s to protect students.

PSB filed the lawsuit against the State of California, the California School for the Deaf and the student who assaulted the 13-year old boy  in October 2014.
