Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP attorneys Rahul Ravipudi, Kevin Boyle and Robert Glassman secured a $5,000,000 settlement for the family of a 52-year-old man who suffered fatal injuries while working as an electrician.
While standing on a step ladder, the electrician attempted to run cable through a cable tray that had been previously installed and affixed to the side of a building by Electrical Systems & Instrumentation , Inc. (ESI). The mounting brackets fastening the tray to the wall broke off from the wall causing the electrician to fall from the ladder onto the concrete ground. His head struck the concrete and he ultimately died from his injuries. He was survived by his wife and three children.
