Addressing Motorcycle Safety In California

Posted on February 11, 2014

A new report analyzes the efforts of the California Highway Patrol to improve motorcycle safety throughout the state over the coming year.  The article places a particular emphasis in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, with the latter set to benefit from enforcement and education efforts in a few months.

In a bid to help riders stay safe, there are also safety tips available.  Riders are cautioned to take a defensive stance on the road and to not attempt any actions that they aren’t confident they can pull off.  To boost skills in this regard, the proper training should also be sought.  Every ride should involve the usage of a helmet and the adornment of clothing that can offer additional protection should a crash occur.
