Tips Offered At Modesto Farm Safety Event

Farmers throughout California often have to deal with the types of hazards that other people don’t think about.  These threats can be somewhat unique to the industry, which means that safety advice needs to come from a source that knows precisely how to avoid a tragedy.  Toward that end, farmers in the vicinity of Stanislaus County were recently able to help themselves out by attending a safety event.  A new report in the Modesto Bee discusses the event, which was put on by the Farm Bureau of the aforementioned county.  There were various safety tips on hand focused on myriad topics associated with farming safety.  Farmers were able to learn how to safely work at night and how to use such equipment as forklifts and tractors.
