33,139 Child Restraints Recalled By Combi Over Possible Safety Issue

Posted on January 6, 2014

Zeus 360, Zeus Turn, and Coccoro child restraints are being recalled by Combi USA because of a possible safety issue associated with the items.  33,139 child safety seats are impacted by the recall, which was issued once it was realized that the products may not be in compliance with federal regulations.  This is due to harness webbing that isn’t sufficiently strong.  Should a crash take place, this would inhibit the child from receiving an appropriate amount of protection.  He or she then has a greater risk of sustaining an injury.  Once the recall starts on February 6 or thereabouts, owners will hear from Combi.  The company is sending kits and repair instructions along to such persons so that the safety issue can be taken care of.
