416 Trophy SE Motorcycles Recalled By Triumph Over Injury Threat

Posted on January 2, 2014

Trophy SE motorcycles of the 2013 model year are being recalled by Triumph Motorcycles America because of a possible personal injury hazard posed.  416 motorcycles could be affected by an issue wherein a fracture of the center stand mount on the lefthand side is a possibility.  Once the user parks the motorcycle, a fracture could prevent that component from keeping the motorcycle held upright.  This could lead the user to suffer injuries if the motorcycle falls on them, and even others could be hurt if they happen to be near at that time.  There’s no indication yet when the recall is going to start, but once it does, owners will receive word from Triumph.  New components that should fix the issue will be installed by dealers.
