Possible Choking Risk Leads to Recall of 1,100 Cubetensils By Edoche

Posted on December 20, 2013

Utensils designed to be used by children are being recalled by the Seattle, Washington-based Edoche because of the possible injury threat the items could pose.  The recall pertains to around 1,100 sets of Cubetensils cutlery sold across the country and online between May of 2012 and last month.  The items’ handles, which will be of various designs, are in danger of being dislodged from the rest of the product, and a child could choke on the components when that happens.  One detachment incident without an attendant injury has been reported, and parents are being asked to avert this threat by not allowing their kids to use these items.  Refunds can be sought from Edoche.
