Possible Lack of Sterility Leads to Abrams Royal Pharmacy Recall

Posted on December 19, 2013

Numerous sterile items are being recalled by Abrams Royal Pharmacy because of the possibility that the products in question may not in fact be sterile.  The move comes on the heels of a situation in California in which someone provided with a compounded drug ended up experiencing adversity that could have been a result of a lack of sterility.  The company is thus issuing a recall on all of their sterile items that have yet to expire, including injections, nasal sprays, eye drops, and more.  Owners of these products, which were available across the country between June 17 and this Tuesday, should not use the items.  Persons who believe they have suffered adversity should contact their doctors and get in touch with MedWatch to file a report.
