Fireworks stands aren’t going to be as common as they are at the end of June, but that doesn’t mean that it’s advisable to put together your own explosives or purchase them from non-approved retail establishments. When you do have legal products in your possession, you must follow the labels to the tee so that your usage doesn’t render the items unsafe.
Make sure only adults are allowed to set off the fireworks, keeping an eye on children who may be tempted to get close to the flames. Don’t light more than a single item at once, and have a hose ready to go to snuff out the flames if they get out of control or when you’re done for the night.
