1,400 Chairs From Hobby Lobby Recalled Over Collapse Risk

Posted on December 13, 2013

The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based Hobby Lobby Stores has announced the recall of accent chairs that were only sold by that retailer.  1,400 black wooden accent chairs with a PO number of 9099294 and a style number of 5218300 are affected by the recall, which was issued due to the threat of loosening or detachment of the legs.  When this happens, the person sitting on the chair at the time could fall.  One collapse incident has been reported, and to ensure that’s the only incident, owners are being asked to bring the chairs back to the Hobby Lobby they were bought from.  Refunds or credit will be provided.  These items were only available this past March and April.
