OxyElite Pro Dietary Supplements Recalled Over Liver Damage Risk

Posted on November 11, 2013

A risk of liver damage has prompted the recall of OxyElite Pro Dietary Supplements by the Dallas, Texas-based USPlabs.  The recall, which affects various flavors, sizes, and lots of products, was issued once it was discovered that the Aegeline ingredient within the supplements could lead people to suffer from liver issues.  Thus far, an investigation has been able to identify incidents taking place in Hawaii in which a consumer reportedly suffered from an injury or an outright failure of their liver.  Health officials are in the midst of deducing whether or not these products caused those incidents.  Owners are being asked to cease consumption of the items.  A refund can be obtained by those who bring the items back to where they were bought.
