Hyundai has announced the recall of Entourage automobiles of the 2007 through 2008 model years because of the potential for drivers to lose control of these vehicles. This situation is a possibility in 15,500 or so vehicles that reside or were purchased in only a handful of states. When exposed to excessive water and heavy amounts of salt, these vehicles could endure corrosion that prompts the fracturing of the front lower control arms. Should this take place, a driver could find himself or herself unable to properly pilot the automobile, and thus a crash becomes a distinct possibility. The recall will start next month, at which point notifications will go out to owners. Free repairs can then be sought from dealers.
