Candelabra LED Bulbs Recalled By Los Angeles Company Over Fire Risk

Posted on November 5, 2013

The Los Angeles-based Infinity Green has announced the recall of two models of candelabra LED light bulbs.  The recall affects model UDC3WW and UDC3CW.  It encompasses around 2,000 bulbs that were available from multiple online retailers and via the Heartland America catalogue.  These products, which were sold between this past June and October, are in danger of overheating, a condition that could lead to a fire.  Two incidents of a blaze breaking out have been reported, but thankfully, those situations reportedly did not lead to an injury.  Instead of using the products, owners are being asked to get in touch with the California company to obtain a postage label they can then use to send the item back for a refund.
