Apple Slices Recalled By Crunch Pak Due to Possible Listeria Threat

Posted on November 15, 2013

Apple Slices are being recalled by the Cashmere, Washington-based Crunch Pak because of a potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination threat posed.  The recall impacts various sizes of Tart Apple Slices, 12 ounce bags of Sweet Honeycrisp Apple Slices, and five pack packages of Blue Raspberry Flavorz Apple Slices with a Monsters University theme.  The latter product will have November 18 as its expiration date, while the other products were set to expire yesterday.  No one has reported an illness in conjunction with this Listeria monocytogenes threat, and to ensure continued wellness, owners are being asked to throw out the products.  They should hold on to the receipt and get in touch with the company with any additional questions.
