1,495 Dynapro MT Tires Recalled By Hankook Because of Crash Risk

Posted on November 18, 2013

1,495 Dynapro MT tires are being recalled by the Hankook Tire America Corporation because of the possibility that they could contribute to a crash.  The recall pertains to just shy of 1,500 LT325/60R18 RT03 tires that were produced between August 2011 and this past September.  The tread/belt edge of these tires could experience a separation, and when that occurs, the tire itself could fail, potentially triggering a crash due to the loss of control.  The recall should start at some point this month, with drivers receiving a notification from Hankook once it does.  A free replacement of the affected tires will then be carried out by dealers.
