Honey Roasted Peanuts Recalled By Yoder’s Over Allergen Risk

Posted on October 21, 2013

An undeclared allergen hazard has prompted the recall of Honey Roasted Peanut gift boxes by Yoder’s Country Market.  These 11 ounce items, which will bear markings indicating that they were distributed by Dutch Valley Food Distributors, could have wheat and milk without the label stating as much.  This could cause persons allergic to those substances who come into contact with the nuts to suffer a severe reaction that could even prove to be life threatening.  The products were available in December of last year across the country via mail order.  No one has reported sustaining any type of serious reaction at this point in time, and to ensure that continues, those with concerns about the product are being advised to get in touch with the company to learn about recall instructions.
