Glendora Pledges Expansion Of Enforcement Efforts

Posted on October 3, 2013

Thanks to a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, police in the city of Glendora will be able to put forth a series of traffic safety initiatives over the course of the next year.  And with statistics showing a rapid proliferation in the number of fatalities and injures associated with drug consumption and distraction at the wheel, it’s not surprising that some of the enforcement efforts are going to target those activities.  Patrols will be ratcheted up to deal with drunk and impaired driving, while other enforcement efforts will focus on distraction, seat belt usage, speeding, and more.  There will also be attention paid to improving car seat safety and motorcycle safety.
