Analysis Shows Effective Car Ads Stress Safety Features

A new analysis has come out that finds the most successful automobile ads on television are those that place an emphasis on safety, particularly those that show how kids can be protected with automobile safety features.  Phoenix Marketing International came out with the findings, which were the result of something called the Automotive Advertising Tracking Study.  That research showed that an ad touting the ability of a back-up camera to avert potential accidents has been proven to be more effective than any other vehicle commercials over the course of the summer.  The ad shows the vehicle stopping before it strikes a kid running behind the car.  A Mercedes ad pointing out common human errors and a Chevy ad similarly highlighting safety also received high marks for their efficacy.
