Sibutramine Presence Leads to Warning About Be Inspired Supplement

Posted on October 11, 2013

The presence of undeclared ingredients has led the Food and Drug Administration to warn persons against consuming a dietary supplement known as Be Inspired.  Testing has revealed that the product, which was available online, is made up of Phenolphthalien and Sibutramine.  The former is a laxative ingredient that the FDA years ago determined neither works nor is safe.  The latter has been taken off of the market because of the perceived danger it poses to consumers.  This drug can cause an individual to suffer from heightened blood pressure and an attendant risk of stroke and heart failure.  People are being asked to cease usage of the product and to get in touch with a doctor if any adversity becomes apparent.
