A new video has been released from the Hampshire Constabulary that highlights some of the myriad distractions that drivers submit to on the road, and while the United Kingdom is far removed from Southern California, many of the somewhat ridiculous activities contained in the video are no doubt happening on American roads as well. Over the course of five days, police were able to catch drivers engaging in such activities as talking on a phone, texting, and applying makeup. They were even able to identify more outlandish actions, like laptop usage and one truck driver who was brushing his teeth as he operated his vehicle. Nearly 200 drivers in total were ticketed for a behavior deemed illegal.
