Market Pantry Animal Cookies Recalled Due to Undeclared Allergen Risk

Posted on October 8, 2013

White Fudge Coated Animal Cookies under the Market Pantry brand are being recalled by the D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Company because of a potential undeclared allergen risk.  These 44 ounce products were available from Target stores across the country and have Best By dates ranging from April 29 to June 4 of 2014.  The items, which come in jugs shaped like a bear, could have egg and milk ingredients without the label stating as much.  No one has thus far reported such things as vomiting, diarrhea, itching, or other things indicative of an allergic reaction, and to ensure that continues, allergic parties are being asked to bring the products back to the Target they were bought from, where a refund will be given.
