Plastic Presence Prompts Recall of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls With Icing

Posted on September 10, 2013

Single packs and two packs of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing are being recalled by General Mills because of a possible safety issue.  The recall comes on the heels of the company discovering that the production line used for these food items may have contained a broken plastic piece.  There is a concern that fragments of that component may have made their way into the products in question.  The recall pertains to those items with a Use By date of October 13, 18, 26, or 31 (specific dates will vary depending upon whether it was a single or double pack).  Owners of the cinnamon rolls, which were made available all across the country, are being asked to get in touch with the company to get new cinnamon rolls that are not in danger of suffering from the safety issue.
