Two products are being recalled by the Alameda, California-based Semifreddi’s due to a potential undeclared allergen risk posed. The recall affects various packages of Chocolate Dipped Almond Biscotti and Almond Biscotti, which each contain soy and milk. Unfortunately, the labels on the products fail to note the presence of these ingredients, and thus persons allergic to the substances would be subject to a potentially life-threatening reaction if they consume the items. No such incidents have been reported at this time, and to ensure that continues, concerned allergic parties are being asked to return the items to get their money back. The recall affects products with an Enjoy By date before 091614.
