Numerous Drugs Recalled By Aidapak Due to Potential Labeling Mixup

Posted on August 19, 2013

A labeling mixup has led to the recall of numerous types of products from the Vancouver, Washington-based Aidapak Services.  The error reportedly has the potential to affect dietary supplements, prescriptions, and over the counter items made available to hospital pharmacies in California, Oregon, Arizona, and Washington.  The worry is that patients would fail to receive the treatment they require to ensure their ongoing good health or that they could react negatively to the incorrect drug.  Hospitals are being asked to check any strip packs that would have been put together between May 1 and July 1, and persons sent home with these types of single dose prescriptions should also check out the products.  A list of affected recalled products is available from Aidapak.
