Dark Chocolate Blueberries Recalled By See’s Due to Undeclared Milk

Posted on August 20, 2013

Dark Chocolate Blueberries are being recalled by the San Francisco, California-based See’s Company due to a possible undeclared allergen threat posed by the products.  Though made available in bulk shipments across the country, the items were repackaged into eight ounce bags at the retail level.  At issue is the fact that the items could contain milk without the labels stating the presence of the ingredient, potentially leading a susceptible user to experience a severe reaction.  One allergic reaction has already come to the attention of the company, and to ensure similar incidents don’t take place, owners are being asked to bring the items back to the store.
