Husqvarna Motorcycles Recalled Due to Possible Crash Threat

Posted on August 13, 2013

The Corona, California-based Husqvarna Motorcycles North America has announced the recall of closed course motorcycles to be used for competitions.  260 motorcycles from around the country are being recalled due to an issue that can create malfunctioning of the vehicles’ throttle cable.  Were this to occur, a rider would potentially be unable to alter their speed as needed, and thus a crash threat is posed.  Owners of the four affected models (WR250, WR300, WR125 and CR125) should cease riding the motorcycles at this time.  No instances of the issue leading to an injury have been reported.  The motorcycles were on sale between last October and this past June.
