Pistachios Recalled By Torn and Glasser Due to Salmonella Hazard

Posted on July 15, 2013

Fallout continues in the wake of a recent recall of ARO Pistachios.  Last week we brought you word of one recall related to those items, and now the Los Angeles-based Torn and Glasser has announced its own recall over fears that the pistachios made available by ARO for these products may be contaminated by Salmonella.  The recall affects four different labels of PISTACHIOS NATURAL, Roasted and Salted:  Sun Harvest, Hilo, Sprouts, and Torn and Glasser.  The products were only available in Hawaii, Arizona, and California between February and the end of April.  No illnesses have been reported at this time, but consumers are being directed to bring the items back to the store for a refund.
