Drowning Risk Prompts Recall of 7,500 Thermobaby Bath Ring Seats

Posted on July 18, 2013

The Milford, Connecticut-based SCS Direct has announced the recall of Thermobaby Aquababy Bath Ring Seats that were only available through Amazon between June of last year and January of this year.  7,500 of the items, which are meant to be used by babies between five and ten months of age, could be unstable enough to run afoul of the government’s regulations regarding stability.  The products are apparently in danger of tipping over and thus would pose a drowning threat.  Thankfully, no such incidents have become known at this time, and to ensure a lack of future adversity, parents are being asked to cease using these items.  They can instead get in touch with SCS to learn about how to get a refund for the product.
