Campaign Uses Naked Motorcyclist To Raise Safety Awareness

Posted on June 26, 2013

Here’s one way to catch the attention of drivers.  In a bid to cut down on accidents which occur when an automobile fails to detect the presence of a motorcyclist, police in the Lancashire region of the United Kingdom have put together a safety campaign featuring a nude police officer atop a motorcycle.  Included with the photo is a caption reading, “What Do I Have To Do To Get You To Notice Me?”  The striking image will be featured on billboards throughout the region over the next couple of months.  A similar poster features a rider dressed up as a clown.  It should go without saying that this is not an encouragement of the way to ride a motorcycle; the proper safety gear should be worn at all times, as should clothing in general.
