Florida Drivers Ready For Texting and Driving Ban

Drivers in Florida, a state which finally appears to be on the verge of passing a ban on texting and driving, have voiced their unhappiness with current driving patterns in a new report.  The prevalence of cellphone usage and myriad other distractions at the wheel has apparently led to numerous instances of drifting and inconsistent speeds along the road.  Anecdotal evidence from interviewees suggests that lane drifting, brake tapping, and other common inattentive maneuvers are becoming more prevalent than ever, despite the startling statistics highlighted by studies from AAA, the Texas Transportation Institute, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and more.
