Studio City Teen Rolls Out Anti-Texting and Driving Campaign

Posted on April 17, 2013

A teenager in Studio City has launched his very own safety campaign in a bid to get his fellow students to eliminate distracted driving from their lives.  Prompted by the death of a friend of his who was reportedly killed by a driver texting at the wheel, the sixteen year  old has created an initiative called “Leading Everyone Against Distracted Driving.”  A website has been erected for the campaign, and already 150 persons have agreed to remove distraction from their driving repertoire.  In addition to that pledge, the website also contains a donation section that, if filled out, entitles the user to receive a bumper sticker that proclaims the driver’s decision to stop texting and driving.
