The Pennsauken, New Jersey-based R-Kane Products has announced the recall of Z PRO HIGH PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT because of an undeclared allergen threat posed. This item, which was available across the country from bariatric surgeons (who issue the product to patients that have just gone through a procedure), contains milk or soy without the label detailing as much. Thus, anyone allergic to those substances could be put at risk, an event that has not reportedly occurred to anyone at this point in time. The product was given to patients from the beginning of 2006 through January 24 of this year. Consumers are advised to get in touch with the company to learn more about return procedures. Sensitive individuals should not use the supplement.
