Winter Safety Tips For Electric Vehicle Owners

The winter poses particular hazards to those persons who drive electric or hybrid vehicles, and a new report aims to address these unique challenges with a few tips.  Drivers of these vehicles are being told by auto experts in Rockford, Illinois to always make sure tires are kept suitably full.  In cold and snowy weather, you especially don’t want to have to stop along the road and put yourself in danger.  To that same end, you’ll also want to keep a sufficient amount of fuel in the car, as well as a fully charged battery.  If you haven’t done so already, consider getting a winter maintenance check up that can reveal any potential safety issues.
