The threat of undeclared eggs has prompted the recall of frozen Kinnikinnick Pie Crust by the Edmonton, Alberta-based Kinnikinnick Foods. Affected versions of the item sold across the United States include those available in a two pack of ten ounce products with a UPC of 62013300600 9. The ingredient label affixed to the product could fail to detail the presence of eggs, and thus persons allergic to that ingredient would be in danger of sustaining some type of reaction. If a label has not been affixed, the product is not included within the recall. No one has reported becoming ill at this time, but concerned consumers can bring the item back for a refund.
