PUH Halts Sales in Wake of Improperly Marketed Dietary Supplements

Posted on November 21, 2012

Following the improper marketing of a series of dietary supplements, a company based out of Minnesota going by the name of PUH, or Pharmacist’s Ultimate Health, has agreed to refrain from interstate commerce until such time that they can bring their practices back in line with the regulations of the Food and Drug Administration.  The agreement, known as a Consent Decree of Permanent Injunction, also allows the FDA to assess damages should the decree be violated in the future.  Two websites were responsible for selling a variety of products that PUH claimed could treat things like congestive heart failure, prostate cancer, and more.  These claims would cause the products to be defined as unapproved drugs.  Check out the full story to see if any of the dietary supplements might be in your home.
