The danger posed by utilizing a cellphone behind the wheel of an automobile was made apparent recently to students in Eskridge, Kansas. A mock crash site was set up at local Mission Valley High School. Four teens were chosen to act like victims of the crash, and emergency personnel conducted what would typically be their job should such a crash be real. Students watched the whole thing from a nearby vantage point. But one unique facet of this event was what happened after the mock crash. The person found to be texting just prior to the crash was put on mock trial, and students and local attorneys were able to take part in that as well.
