842 Encounter, Terra, and Storm vehicles of the 2010 through 2013 model years have been recalled by Fleetwood RV because of an issue affecting safe entry into these motorhomes. Specifically, the step used to board the vehicle is not supported adequately. Over time, this could lead the step to become damaged to the point where it gives out and injures the person boarding or debarking at that moment. At some point this month, owners will likely hear from Fleetwood if their vehicles suffer from the issue. An inspection will be carried out and free reinforcement will then be provided by dealers if need be.
