DA Event Teaches Massachusetts Teens About Distracted Driving

Posted on November 7, 2012

The Boys and Girls Club of Webster-Dudley, Massachusetts recently held an event dedicated to educating people about the dangers of distracted driving.  The District Attorney was responsible for bringing the event to both parents and teenagers alike, and numerous officials were called upon to speak about their experiences with distracted driving and illustrate both how prevalent and how hazardous the practice is.  Texting behind the wheel received a particular emphasis.  Participants were able at the end of the lecture portion of the event to watch The Last Text, a video produced by AT & T that shows viewers the real-life consequences of texting while driving.
