Certain Protein Crunch Bar pet food items have been recalled by Charlee Bear Products because of their potential to have sustained a Salmonella contamination. Chicken Recipe with Sweet Potatoes versions of the items with a Best By Date of July 19, 2015 and Chicken Recipe with Carrots versions of the items with a Best By Date between July 16 and 20, 2015 (excluding the 19th) are included within the recall. No animals or humans have reportedly become ill at this time, and pet owners are being asked to return the products to get their money back.
