Posted on October 3, 2012

Peanut Butter Newman-O’s Sandwich Crème Cookies with a use by date of May 3 and 27, 2013, are being recalled by Newman’s Own Organics.  The recall comes on the heels of the expansion of Sunland’s nut butter recall.  The recall was necessitated because the Sunland peanut butter may have suffered from a Salmonella contamination.  This organism could sometimes be fatal to consumers under the right circumstances.
