Las Vegas Officials Encourage Safety on Halloween

Posted on October 31, 2012

Police and safety officials in Las Vegas, Nevada are attempting to spread awareness about the importance of safety on Halloween.  Safe Kids Clark County, the Trauma Unit of the University Medical Center, and the Las Vegas Police Department this morning were out talking to parents and their children as they headed to school.  Officials placed a particular emphasis on parents and guardians always going with children when they trick or treat.  AAA also offers a service in Nevada, Utah, and California wherein people who opt to consume alcohol on Halloween can call to receive a free tow.
