Whole Foods Market has recalled two types of cheese sold in its Nashville, Tennessee store and its Louisville, Kentucky store. The cheese is marketed as “Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese KY BL” in Louisville and “Blue Kentucky Rose Kenny’s” in Nashville. These cheeses could potentially suffer from a Listeria monocytogenes contamination, which could cause severe illness even in healthy individuals. An infection can also be fatal to elderly people and younger kids.
