New York city students at John Jay High School recently got the chance to attend an assembly on being safe while you drive. The speaker was someone who herself had been in an accident caused by a distracted driver. The outcome of that crash was the loss of her parents. She is thus spreading the word on how important it is to be cautious when behind the wheel. Students were shown what bad things can happen when a person tries to do other things while driving.
